Marrakech cemetery

The Marrakesh Cemetery is one of the largest in Morocco, covering 2800 dunams adjacent to the Jewish Quarter in Marrakech. The cemetery has over 10,000 graves that have been buried from the 12th century to the present day. The cemetery is maintained by the Jewish community and by a guard who is there 24 hours a day. Marrakesh Tzaddiks are known for their education and academic acumen and in the cemetery there are tens of thousands of Tzaddiks and great scholars among them:
